Blade-free Drone is a safe, balloon drone propelled by ultrasonic vibrations. Unlike conventional drones propelled by blades, Blade-free Drone only requires helium to stay afloat in the air and can remain airborne for a few weeks at a time. It also features a relatively quiet ultrasonic propulsion system. NTT Docomo will demonstrate using projection mapping to display images and videos on the drone’s surfaces.
Spherical Drone Display is a world’s first drone that can display clear images up to 760 by 320 pixels all around its curved frame. The drone creates the illusion of a curved spherical screen through rotating multi light-emitting diode (LED) strips taped along its spherical frame.
We are proposing these technologies for various use cases, such as displays at concert halls and other indoor events for the purposes of entertainment, information or advertising.
