Ravensbourne is renowned for its expertise and reputation in delivering broadcast technology, operations and production courses with facilities to match and a teaching staff that have the experience, skills and industry awareness to fulfil this remit. We are now looking for an additional member of academic staff to undertake subject leader responsibilities for our new broadcast industry specific courses FdSc IPTV and the BSc Digital & Technology Solutions, both of which work in partnership with employers.
The successful candidate will be involved in leading a small team at Ravensbourne to support the organisation and delivery of the Digital Media Technology and Digital Technology Solutions to our student cohorts. This would involve liaising with industry employers to identify important learning outcomes and up to date applications, also working with teaching colleagues at Ravensbourne to plan and format teaching units and project work for the courses. The candidate will organise the schedule and delivery of the teaching units, using both internal and external lecturing expertise, while producing the required learning outcomes and assessments to meet Ravensbourne’s exacting standards for higher education courses.
